Economic Downturn Accelerates Development Of Alternative Training Delivery Options Offered By The Risk Management Association

October 8, 2009

SALT LAKE CITY (October 8, 2009) — RMA came to Allen Communication Learning Services (Allen) because AllenComm provided broad corporate training industry experience coupled with leading edge Flash and XML authoring technologies, and a variety of training delivery options. This experience and technical savvy allows RMA to maximize their ROI by extending the shelf life of the courses as well as providing engaging, effective courses for their learners.

Because of the complexity of the courses, AllenComm first completed a prototype to validate key design strategies for easily accessing large volumes of documentation, case studies, and key online instructional strategies for learning the commercial lending decision process. Once confirmed by RMA and a group of bankers and subject matter experts, these learning activities were then levied across all eighteen courses that make up the first of two major releases of content for commercial credit and lending professionals.

“The strategic approach to put robust courses online,” states Ron Zamir, CEO of Allen Communication Learning Services, “demonstrates RMA’s commitment to its association members by providing easy access to the highest quality training necessary to build industry knowledge, skills, and competencies. We are glad training can not only impact a business’ mission critical operations, but it can even positively impact the larger financial services industry at this important time.”

“We are all about identifying and enabling best practices, and this pursuit extends to the instructional design and delivery that we are applying to our on-line approach,” states Mark Zmiewski, director of strategic learning RMA.” By integrating online courses with our web-based assessment and industry information capabilities, we are providing an incredible value proposition to our members that few if any others can replicate.”
