AllenComm’s Training Knows No Borders

October 11, 2010

AllenComm’s global learning capabilities are a client’s passport to developing foreign markets.

SALT LAKE CITY (October 11, 2010) — Allen Communication Learning Services is continuing to expand the reach of its custom corporate courses far beyond its roots in the Intermountain West. Allen is becoming the go-to company for clients in various industries that require effectual global training solutions.

“I think our track record speaks for itself,” said Ron Zamir, CEO of Allen. “It would be quite telling if these were one-off deals. But that’s not the case. Most of the global strategic learning initiatives we’re involved in is repeat business. Our clients have seen first-hand the results of our approach to impacting their businesses via customized training programs. There’s a good reason they keep coming back to Allen.”

One project where Allen is extending their global reach is a series of web-based-training courses for a direct distributor’s growing market in China. The course is customized to accommodate the language and cultural sensitivities of the Chinese sales force, while educating them on individual products and best practice sales techniques for their specific market.

In a turn from the norm where US employee training influences training in other countries, this series of successful Chinese courses is being redeveloped for the company’s North American operation.

Another series of sales courses was tailored to match the demographics for a client’s sales force in Latin American countries such as; Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile & Uruguay. The client saw an increase in sales of 36 percent by those who completed the courses, compared to those who didn’t participate.

Allen is also developing a blended training program for a pharmaceutical company that will standardize some of their administrative practices and procedures among employees in Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Singapore, China, Pakistan, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Spain, and Italy.

Additionally, Allen recently launched several localized learning portals in Eastern European countries, including Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and The Czech Republic, which offer custom learner tracking capabilities.
